Dr. Abu Shahin
Dr. Abu Shahin is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Rajshahi Medical College, where he is actively involved in clinical care, teaching, and research. He treats a wide range of medical conditions, including infectious diseases, heart diseases, diabetes, joint diseases, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Dr. Shahin has a special interest in tropical and infectious diseases, reflecting his dedication to addressing health problems of major relevance in Bangladesh and other tropical regions. He is currently pursuing a PhD on Russell’s viper bite, focusing on improving the understanding and management of snakebite envenomation — a significant public health issue in the region.
Through his clinical expertise, academic contributions, and ongoing research, Dr. Shahin continues to play an important role in advancing medical education and improving patient care in Bangladesh.
